The 19 Crimes Hard Chard Chardonnay 75cl is a bold and unapologetic white wine from South Eastern Australia, continuing the brand's theme of celebrating the rebellious spirit of those who broke the law and were transported to Australia. This Chardonnay aims for a richer, more intense style, hence the "Hard Chard" moniker.

Appearance: Rich golden color, indicative of a fuller-bodied Chardonnay.

Aroma: Dominated by ripe stone fruit aromas such as peach and apricot, intertwined with prominent notes of vanilla and toasted oak derived from oak aging. Hints of citrus and tropical fruit might also be present, adding complexity.

The "Hard Chard" is typically full-bodied and creamy, with a luscious texture. The flavors of ripe fruit are prominent, often complemented by the vanilla and toasty notes from oak influence. A balanced acidity should provide a lift and prevent it from feeling too heavy. One might also find notes of butterscotch or a subtle spiciness.

Finish: The finish is expected to be long and satisfying, with the fruit and oak notes lingering pleasantly.

Acidity: Balanced.

Alcohol Content: Likely around 13.0% - 14.0% ABV.

This richer style of Chardonnay pairs well with fuller-flavored foods such as roasted chicken or turkey, creamy pasta dishes, seafood with rich sauces, and even lightly spiced Asian cuisine. Serve chilled, around 8-10°C (46-50°F), to best appreciate its complexity and balance.

The 19 Crimes Hard Chard Chardonnay offers a distinctly bolder take on Chardonnay, emphasizing richness, oak influence, and ripe fruit flavors, all while carrying the intriguing backstory and character of the 19 Crimes brand. The 75cl bottle with the "(P)" designation offers this robust white wine in a standard size, potentially with unique packaging.
