Luzhou Laojiao Bainian (百年), which literally translates to "Hundred Years," is a highly esteemed Chinese Baijiu from the venerable Luzhou Laojiao distillery, one of the four oldest distilleries in China, with roots tracing back to the Ming Dynasty in 1573. This particular expression is celebrated for being a special batch often linked to the distillery's "100-year-old fermentation pit." It exemplifies the "Strong-Aroma" (Nongxiang) style of Baijiu, a category that Luzhou Laojiao is particularly famous for and even helped define.
